Projects
I love working on small projects that keep me interested and up to speed in various programming languages. I just released my first iPhone app, Drank, which has kept me occupied for the past several months.
Here are a few projects I have worked on in the past:
- Drank - my first iPhone app makes it really easy to jot quick notes about any beer you’ve tried so next time you know whether or not to get it again. I am hoping to integrate a beer recommendation engine into this app eventually.
- Twilio Inventory Checker - I recently wrote a Python script that integrated Twilio to send myself a text message when a (very popular) camera I wanted came in stock at one of several online retailers.
- ND Dining App - In my last semester at Notre Dame, I developed an Android app that interfaced with Notre Dame Food Services to provide useful information about the various eateries on campus to students and visitors.
- TechmemeLinks - Back before Techmeme did it themselves, I created a Python script that took the Techmeme RSS feed and tweeted the link to the real article and not the article’s listing on Techmeme.
